Peter has over 40 years professional experience in designing, implementing and supporting IT solutions, including program management, technical management, commercial management and stakeholder management. He is an advisor to both companies seeking to win new business with federal government agencies, and to federal agencies for their IT strategy. He has guided, led and won significant IT engagements for a number of major IT companies. He has provided strategy advice to companies to help qualify and win major new business.

For a number of years, Peter was the director of Defence delivery for a major IT services company with responsibilities for oversight of a large portfolio of projects and maintaining annual revenues of $100m. He has been a leader in contract negotiations for major engagements. He has led the procurement process for selection of a new IT managed service provider for a government agency. He is currently providing advice to industry and government agencies on strategies for effective use of cloud technologies. Peter is a technology tragic. His home desktop uses Linux, and in his spare time he is a volunteer IT system administrator for a PC user group. He is a member of the IEEE, ACM, PMI, ISOC, AISA and AICD.
